Also known as the Hincapie Loop in honour of retired cyclist George Hincapie, this route has become one of the Les Gavarres classics for mountain biking lovers. The start is at Pont de Pedra, followed by the climb towards Els Àngels, later passing through the medieval village Monells. Then, you climb up to Santa Pellaia, where there are many cyclists that stop to discover places of Les Gavarres. Finally, the descent takes you to Cassà de la Selva and you go back to Girona from the south.

Girona, Madremanya, La Pera, Foixà, Bordils, Girona

This route is recommended especially to road bicycle enthusiasts, although it can also be done on an MTB. It is a simple ride, with a low gradient and it is circular, and for this reason, it is an option for those who want to relax on the bike without exerting themselves. One of the most typical routes is the one that starts in Juià, through Sant Martí Vell, the magnificent plain of Madremanya, La Pera, Púbol, Foixà, Flaçà and, finally, back to Girona.

Girona: Banyoles, with optional climb to Rocacorba by road bike

The Girona-Banyoles route is ideal for those who want to take a good bicycle trip, exercise and train. It starts in Girona and goes to Banyoles, ending at the famous Lake of Banyoles. For the bravest - and fittest - there is the option of climbing Rocacorba and then descending to Banyoles. It is worth noting that this variation of the route has been done by professional cyclists such as David Millar and Dan Martin.
