At Hotels Ultonia Girona, we are proud of hosting international groups of cyclist who keep visiting our province year after year. There’s nothing quite like a group of cyclists on holiday, enjoying the scenery and bonding over their love of cycling. But while it’s all fun and games, it’s important to remember that taking care of their bike is essential for them.
Such experience led us to rethink and update the bike room that we want to introduce you. You can access with ease to our new bike room by riding you bike through the hotel parking. Located in the basement of the hotel and right next to “El Baluard” wall remainings, to use the bike room guests must previously take their bikes to the front desk and request a key to the bike room. The front desk staff will set a specific key card so guests can store their bikes there for the duration of their stay.
As a part of the cycling community in Girona, we stay in touch with most active players of the local scene. Actually this bike space has been designed by bikers to bikers and offers a wide number of bike racks and in case was needed, enough space for travel bike bags. In order to keep your bike safe, it is important to lock it up properly in a bike room.
We offer on-site repair station that can handle any mechanical problems that might arise, so you can rest assured that you will be taken care of if anything goes wrong. Here are all the tools you need to take care of your bike, so you can keep pedaling along worry-free. Moreover you’ll find a bike spa area where you bike can be cleaned up after a long day on the road. As many other bike room facilities, ours also have a water fountain for personal use and and offer some bike amenities or even snacks.
Security matters to us and it is important to make sure that your belongings are safe. Our bike room is locked and only customers who keep their bikes are allowed to step in. In addition, the room is monitored by a security camera in order to control whatever could happen inside.
