The latest creation of Roca brothers opens its doors in the center of Girona
Casa Cacao is the latest idea from the Roca brothers for the city of Girona, with the collaboration of the chocolate master Damian Allsop, and is located in a completely renovated historic building in Plaça Catalunya, where formerly there was the Esperança Clinic, from 1948 to 2005, and later a hostel of the Equity Point chain until 2015. Interestingly, it is the second business in the city of Girona run by Jordi Roca that is dedicated to desserts, the first being the popular ice cream parlour El Rocambolesc.
”Casa Cacao's suppliers are small communities in Peru, Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia or Ecuador, from whom it is purchased directly at a fair price.
At Casa Cacao, chocolate is the protagonist, with exquisite chocolates and other creations based on a revision of classic chocolate pastries, as well as a chocolate shop that serves hot chocolate with churros, among other delicacies.
